Pictured here is the “Billion Dollar Gold Top”. Though we have a CNC machine in house, Danny went back to his roots and hand carved this entire guitar with chisels and gouges for Microsoft Co-Founder & Billionaire, Paul Allen. Danny took advantage of the opportunity to hand deliver this guitar to Paul’s famous Midnight Lamp Recording studio on his Lake Washington compound where it sits proudly amongst Jimi Hendrix’s Strats and dozens of other famous guitars.

Victor captures the 50’s with its tone and looks and makes a great companion for any player who loves rich, warm tone. It starts with a maple top that is thicker than average. This allows for a more dramatic and comfortable carve resembling an instrument from the violin family. Many Gold Tops today are finished with a mica powder coated in thick polyurethane. The fine bronze powder we use is true to the well-known 50’s color, which shows a slight green iridescence rather than bright white gold. If you love a hearty vintage style single cut you will feel right at home. A 24 3/4 – inch scale combined with PAF style humbuckers will produce all the rich tone you would expect from an instrument like this. Standard electronics include 2 volume, 2 tone, and one 3-way selector.
